You are invited to choose a variety of educational sessions, all free and on the CPCC campus alongside the festival. More information will be added about the classes along with specific times closer to the festival date. Some classes will be taught for multiple sessions, others only one. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
All classes are 1 hour and take place in either the Levine Information Technology Building or the Health Careers Building.

The 15th annual Symposium for Neighborhoods is the centerpiece of a month of "Creating Community" activities hosted by the City of Charlotte and its partners. The Symposium will be held in the Overcash Building on the Central Campus of Central Piedmont Community College in conjunction with Charlotte Clean and Green and CPCC's Sensoria Saturday events.
The Neighborhood Symposium brings together neighborhood residents and leaders who share the goal of building a better community. A variety of workshops will be provided on topics such as community safety, neighborhood projects and events, economic development, creating place and spaces, sustainability and energy efficiency. There will also be workshops for youth ages 12–18. Exhibitors and neighborhood showcases available all day and all events are free and open to the public.
