In partnership with Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, Charlotte Clean and Green will offer an eRecycling collection program at the 2010 event. This program provides a convenient place for people to drop off unwanted electronics, preventing tons of waste from ending up in our landfills.

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont diverted more than 55 million pounds of goods from area landfills in 2009. Visit Goodwill's computer recycling program website for more information.

Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Goodwill will be collecting electronics and handing out donation receipts for tax purposes at a specially designed area at 1515 Elizabeth Avenue. Drop off entrance will be located in the 200 block of North Torrence Street. Click here for the Venue Map.

Items for collection include:

Appliances

Televisions*, VCRs, toasters, radios, stereo systems, electric frying pans, irons, mixers, blenders, vacuum cleaners, lamps, fans, coffee pots, can openers, humidifiers and telephones.

Computers/Electronic Equipment

Monitors, printers, keyboards, photocopiers, fax machines, typewriters and cellular telephones.
