Rob Eggers is a landscape architect who has practiced his craft of site design in the Charlotte area for over twenty–five years. He has designed numerous residential communities and subdivisions, as well as office parks, retail centers, churches, and school sites while with three different design firms over the years. Reedy Creek Park and Colonel Beatty Park are two park projects to his credit.
Rob holds bachelor's degrees in landscape architecture from the University of Illinois and in ornamental horticulture from the University of Tennessee. He also is a LEED accredited professional and was the landscape architect of record for the Cherry Senior Apartments, the first LEED certified affordable multifamily housing project in North Carolina. Rob is active with the Charlotte chapter of the United States Green Building Council and the Home Builders Association of Charlotte. He also is a regular participant in the Civic by Design Forum.
Currently, Rob is a part–time instructor at CPCC in its Center for Sustainability. He will be teaching continuing education classes on sustainable site and landscape design, storm water management, and site analysis. Information on these classes is available at the CPCC web site.
