Mike Esposito, AIA, is a registered Architect in the State of North Carolina and a Senior Associate with ADW Architects, P.A. located in Charlotte. Over the past sixteen–years he has been the lead Project Architect on numerous projects both local and national including public schools, churches, libraries, movie theaters, and State University buildings while with two different design firms.
Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is also a LEED accredited professional and a member of the Charlotte chapter of the United States Green Building Council. He is an avid supporter of incorporating sustainability in design projects ranging from reduced energy consumption to water conservation.
Mike began gardening over 10 years ago and has implemented rain water harvesting for the past 5 years. He became interested in rain water harvesting to save money and conserve water during drought conditions. Through trial and error he has developed a way to produce affordable rain barrels as well as an irrigation system on a budget.
