The 15th annual Symposium for Neighborhoods is the centerpiece of a month of Creating Community activities hosted by the City of Charlotte and its partners. The Symposium will be held at Central Piedmont Community College's (CPCC) main campus in partnership with its Charlotte Clean and Green and Sensoria events.

The Symposium brings together neighborhood residents and leaders who share the goal of building a better community. A variety of workshops will be provided on topics such as community safety, neighborhood projects and events, economic development, creating place and spaces and energy efficiency. There will also be activities for youth ages 12–18.
